Our mission here at PinkSquadron is to let the world know that strong female characters in video games are a growing group which are not to be taken lightly. We respect studios that take the initiative in creating female characters in their games, that break away from the molds of sex objects and/or eye candy and blossom into full, strong, deep, goal oriented women whom can stand their place along side any male character.
Women of the gaming industry are kicking butts and taking names and there are no signs of stopping in sight.
Our small, but dedicated staff will do our best to bring you all of the up-to-date news on these characters and the games they appear in. Covering all major gaming systems, we invite you to take a ride with us as we journey into the ideas that make these characters so strong and appealing to game fans everywhere. Articles spanning news, previews, reviews, character bios and opinion pieces are sure to catch your fancy and keep you wanting to learn more about each and every character.
**While we will try to cover most stuff we deem "worthy" of the subject at hand, rest assured that we'll be hand selecting certain content to appear. You won't be seeing articles titled "Who is hotter" and "Bikini Contest!" anywhere on the site, as that is not our aim. Our aim is to shed light on strong, well developed characters that just so happen to be female.
***At some point we plan for contests to creep their way into the community. We'll encourage artistic creativity for real world prizes. So get your pencils, paints, singing, writing or photoshop skills warmed up to show the world who your fav heroines are and why they matter.
